Today, I did it- I resigned from my job, effective two weeks from tomorrow... I'm proud of myself and confident that I will suceed and find a bigger and better employment opportunity which will provide me with the growth and development opportunities that I deserve and desire.
I'm young, smart, talented, and possess many skills-- I can do anything!

YAY! If your happy then I can't help to be happy!
Well, congrats on your decision!
Congratulations on your career change! Here's something I did when I was looking for a change:
I had been working in a lumber yard, loading cement into the trunks of people's cars. I made a list of the things I most liked about my past jobs and another list of the things I most hated. Then I sought jobs that focused on my "most-liked" activities while studiously avoiding jobs that involved my most-hated activities.
It turned out that I liked wearing a suit and tie, liked to read, contact people and negotiate, travel and issue press releases and I really needed a sense that I was helping people. That's how I became a managing attorney for non-profits(after getting a bachelors degree and attending law school).
That's cool. Congrats on the career move. The toughest part from what I can imagine is taking that first step. Things will definitely work out.
You seemed unhappy there so it is probably for the best. Good luck!
Wow that's a big step! I hope things work well for you and you find what you desire...
